The purpose of the Center for Advanced Information technology Research is to promote cutting-edge research and educational activities in the field of information science, particularly in the areas of Human Informatics, Sensing and Control, Modeling and Optimization, and Computational Intelligence, by full-time faculty members of the College of Science and Engineering and the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, especially in collaboration with the departments and other institutions.
The AI Research Hub Formation Project as Aoyama Gakuin University will also be launched at the center, making it an on-campus research hub for artificial intelligence technology.
