About Education
Learning, working, and living with people from different cultures is becoming more common today, and future engineers and researchers must have advanced intercultural communication skills. For this reason, the College of Science and Engineering provides students with opportunities to acquire skills not only in English but also other second languages such as German, which are highly practical and science and engineering-oriented.
In addition, in order to send students out into the world as the "The Salt of the Earth, The Light of the World" (Matthew 5:13-14), we first deepen students' knowledge of Christianity through the Introduction to Christianity, and then provide additional opportunities for them to experience and learn about biblical values and views of life through worship services and overseas language and Christian-culture programs.
Furthermore, through the various curricula of Aoyama Standard, we provide an environment for students to acquire not only basic natural science education such as life science, which is required of engineers and researchers, but also education in the humanities and social sciences.
In order to cope with the unknown and difficult problems of today, our faculty supports its students by equipping them with the teachings of the Bible and foreign language skills.
