The world is comprised of various levels of organizations, such as companies, corporations, and societies, in which people, goods, money, and information are intricately involved. Information and systems engineering is the study of the entire process of developing technologies and systems to ""make these organizations function better"" and implement these systems.

Students learn about the three technical fields of analysis, modeling, and optimization, making full use of advanced IT. Many of the faculty members have experience working on the front lines of prominent companies. They provide a systematic approach to learning the practical application of the three technical fields to various situations in organizational management. Students can develop advanced and cutting-edge problem-solving skills by grasping real world problems and researching and developing new management technologies using advanced management techniques.

Various classes to stimulate students' interest are offered, including subjects to promote exchange with overseas universities, subjects taught through group work, and subjects to develop insight into society.
